WHO IS MEJDAL CONSULTING?
Meet me
My name is Cathrine Mejdal. Based in Birkerød, Denmark, I work with initiatives that empower people with disabilities and promote equity.
My solutions support companies and cultural actors' opportunities to create better frameworks for accessibility and inclusion as well as innovation and brand loyalty - both internally and externally.
Because everyone wants to feel that they belong.

CATHRINE MEJDAL
Consultant
I am an independent consultant focused on creating accessible solutions for people with disabilities - from culture, design to product. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with project management and communication across accessibility, design and inclusion to fundraising and politics.
In me you get an experienced and motivated sparring partner with a unique profile within the fields of cross-cultural understanding, strategic communication and accessibility - and through Mejdal Consulting honest, effective advice and concrete solutions that create value for your brand, users and society.
Accessibility opens the door.
Inclusion walks in only when recognition, representation, participation, and partnership follow.

MANIFESTO
My approach is characterized by mutual learning, openness and curiosity. Together we question the status quo and challenge normative thinking.
The common denominator for my starting point is the disabled gaze through which I experience the world.
MY CORE VALUES:
Knowledge
Knowledge is the alpha and omega. It is through knowledge that we learn new things, act wisely, create change and avoid repeating mistakes.
Creativity
No development happens without the ability to think new and out of the box, connect ideas across borders and imagine alternatives.
Sustainability
Sustainability is also about creating social solutions that last and create participation across age, race, gender, sexuality, disability and values.
